This is because the legacy Cisco VPN-client is not supported under Windows 10 and as the client is EOL anounced, it probably will never be supported anymore. Yet, for some reasons, there are still users (like myself) who are not able to use the newer Cisco AnyConnect, as it might not be supported by their existing VPN infrastructure or some. MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 is throwing a warning that Cisco AnyConnect is using legacy extensions that will not be soon supported. What version of AnyConnect client are you using? It sounds like there might be an IPsec (IKEv2) VPN setup on the ASA in addition to the SSL one (or an IPsec IKEv1 VPN for the legacy Cisco VPN client). Older AnyConnect versions (prior to 3.0.0629) do not support IPsec (IKEv2) remote access VPNs (and AnyConnect does not support IPsec (IKEv1) at all). The problem was that every time when I tried to connect via Cisco AnyConnect Client it kept looping through the connection and never made it connect. The fix is quite simple actually, go to Network Connections from Control Panel, right-click Cisco AnyConnect Security Mobility Client Connection, and choose Properties. Legacy AnyConnect should be installed only on devices unable to run iOS 10.3 or later. Per-App tunneling is available, but only on iOS 8.3 or later.
